THE HITLER PARADOX
THE HITLER PARADOX
SYNOPSIS...

In the early 23rd Century time travel has become a reality.

For years, the Infinity Generator remains unused as governments debate the ramifications of potential alterations to the past until one nation, Germany, proposes the correction of humanity’s worst atrocity, The Holocaust.
The United Nations agrees and a committee is formed to work up a plan. They decide that erasing Adolph Hitler from history is the best way to achieve their goal. They study his life, find his vulnerabilities and finally execute their attack.
Like many before them, they fail and with that, a new and terrible foe becomes aware of their intentions, hell-bent on revenge.
Now the U.N. must fight against time itself to achieve success before the future, the present, and the past are controlled by the Fourth Reich.

REVIEW...
To anyone who enjoys sci-fi and history, i suggest you read this book written by Andrew Dunkley. I was glued to it and found it fascinating. It's a fairly quick read but it's packed full of twists and completely unpredictable; I couldn't put it down. - I finished his other book the Terranian Enigma previously to this and again, totally unpredictable and mind-blowing.
THE TERRANIAN ENIGMA
SYNOPSIS...

When The Borche invaded the seven worlds of the Andromeda Galaxy the people fought hard to defend their colonies but they were confronted by a disciplined and unwavering foe. When it was realised that the war was lost seven fleets were quickly launched to seven points in the universe identified as having habitable worlds. During their final jump a cataclysmic failure saw the fleet scattered with many ships lost. Only the the ISS Titania arrived at the new world, severely damaged. The planet Terrania was beautiful; a watery blue ball with a single grey moon warmed by a medium sized yellow star but to the horror of the Andromendan’s it was already occupied. Without anywhere else to go they now had to decide to either negotiate asylum or just take what they needed from the people of this world, just like The Borche had taken from them or would something else jeopardise their hopes for the future.
REVIEW:
Terrania seemed like a great place for the Andromedans to escape the violence of their war-ravaged worlds. Well, maybe not so great, after all. Andrew Dunkley takes the reader through thousands of years of strife to help us understand this new world in the first chapter. Suddenly there are TWO sets of aliens, maybe at war with each other, or with the Terranians, or not. Until the last chapter of the book, I thought I might like to live there. Read it; you might like it as much as I did.

SYNOPSIS...
“Our reporter Sam Wilcox is live from the Australia Observatory. Sam, what’s happening?” “Thanks Gary. Astronomers all over the World are saying that there’s been some strange solar activity of late, something they’ve never witnessed before. They’re calling them Sun Spikes and I have with me Astronomer, Fred Wilson. Dr Wilson, can you tell us?”
“Well Sam, these events have never been documented and no-one has come up with any tangible explanation as yet. Frankly we’re scratching our heads. For some reason there are wafer-thin spikes of light shooting out from the Sun and they’re now threatening to penetrate our atmosphere.”
“And what will happen if they do?”
“We don’t know but what’s even more peculiar is the fact they’re travelling at faster than light speed.”
“That’s impossible isn’t it?” “Indeed. These Sun Spikes are new to science as we know it. They breach the laws of physics.” “Are we in danger, Dr Wilson?” “I’d like to say no, but the truth is we have no idea what effect they might have if one or more of these things strikes the planet or God forbid, people.”

A well written and very believable story of Andrew's grandfather. What these blokes went through is unbelievable. This book is one of the best I have read relating to Australians in the great war. Definitely worth the read and definitely 5 stars.
